Science in ACTion at Old Bus Depot

Come down to the Old Bus Depot this Saturday and celebrate science with the Canberra community! We will be holding a stall with Brian Bettong, ecologists and volunteers to chat about what’s happening at Mulligans Flat and Jerrabomberra Wetlands.

Other exciting things to expect:

Experience real life Science in ACTion! The amazing work of local, national, and international STEM organisations is on show at this fun-filled interactive exhibition.

Take a trip through time to meet Australia’s dinosaurs and discover secrets of Canberra’s archaeology and geology.

Find out where learning to code could take you, experience a virtual reality, and hear about Canberra’s own supercomputer – the fastest in the Southern Hemisphere!

Hear from scientists who work to conserve iconic Australian plants and animals, and learn how renewable energies help protect the earth’s climate.

See model planes, rockets, drones and robots in action, and witness a visit from some infamous alien villains.
