Truffle, tannins & ‘tongs

June 23 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Celebrate Canberra’s popular Truffle Festival in nature. Find the connection between the beautiful black European truffle and a little marsupial that has been extinct on mainland Australia for 100 years.

Start your tour with a tasting of mouth watering truffle cheese paired with wine from Mount Majura Vineyard, while listening to stories about the importance of native truffles and their gardeners – the Eastern Bettong.

To end the sensory experience, step out into the night to spotlight for these rare marsupials and watch them as they search and dig for truffles!
