Head out before it gets dark and experience the sanctuary when it’s coming to life. Hear the dusk chorus chattering away before all the birds go to bed. Many birds from as far north as Papua New Guinea have come to spend their summer here and are residing in Mulligans – many you may have heard of before.
Listen for the frogs croak croak croaking to each other competing for attention.
And wait, just wait, for the nocturnal critters to climb out of their holes and for their night to begin.
Age suitability: 4 – 12
What to bring: torch, water, things to keep the kids happy (snacks etc), wear long pants and good walking shoes.
Price $15 (per child – ticket includes 1 free adult)
